How to clean wound ?

Whenever you hear the word "wound" you get bit alert. Wound the word itself brings pain and many other questions.Today I will teach you how to clean a wound and what all steps should be taken in case you have to deal with it.

Steps to clean a wound

• Take a clean gauze piece and apply direct pressure on wound if blood is coming out of it.
• Take anti-septic solution ( Betadine ) and H2O2( Hydrogen Peroxide)
• Now put anti-septic solution and H2O2 on wound and give it a gentle wash.
• If you have got sterile water , like N.S use it first.
• Clean the wound very nicely with N.S and remove soil and other foreign particles from site of wound.
• Apply anti-septic ointment on clean gauze piece and put it on site of wound.
• Put another gauze piece above the gauze piece with med.
• Use Bandage 4inch and tie the wound.
• Contact you doctor or emergency department of any hospital for further treatment.
